Tips For Curing Epoxy Resin
1. The optimal operating environment temperature range is 72°F-84°F, and the full curing time is 24-48 hours. But for example, when the ambient temperature in winter is lower than this range, the curing time needs to be extended (heating pads and other tools can be used to help cure)
2. Try to choose a dry operating environment, and the air humidity needs to be controlled below 75%. A gelor white substance can easily form in high humidity environments. This will affect the curing effect of the epoxy resin, causing the cured surface to appear white.
3. The amount of mica, pigments and other additives in epoxy resin should not exceed 6%. If the addition ratio is too high, the epoxy will not cure.
4. Ensure the correct mix ratio, stir for at least three minutes until the epoxy becomes clear and transparent, then pour into the mold to cure. Uneven mixing will affect the curing effect of epoxy resin.
5. It is recommended that each layer of epoxy be approximately 1/8""thick. Too thick or too thin will affect the curing effect and curing time of the epoxy resin.
